How LITH-EX AVD Technology Works

LITH-EX extinguishers utilize AVD, an environmentally friendly agent made from naturally occurring vermiculite suspended in water.

Stage 1: Cool & Control: Applied as a fine mist, the water content instantly suppresses visible flames and cools adjacent battery cells to halt thermal propagation.

Stage 2: Seal & Protect: As the water evaporates, the vermiculite platelets overlap and bind together, creating a non-flammable, insulated barrier film. This film isolates the fuel source and creates an oxygen barrier, completely extinguishing the fire and preventing re-ignition
